Best Teaching and Educational Practice Award
Established in 2025, the ENCATC Best Teaching and Educational Practice Award recognises innovative and transferable approaches, methods and practices that contribute to advancing education in cultural management and policy.
Presented as a recognition of pedagogical creativity, effectiveness and relevance, the Award highlights educators and practitioners responding to the evolving needs of the cultural and creative sectors.
The Award aims to encourage the development of new approaches to learning, support the continuous improvement of cultural management and policy education, and foster the international exchange of experiences and innovative practices among educators and practitioners.
The Award inspires educators and institutions across the cultural management and policy field by highlighting innovative educational practices that are both significant and transferable, contributing to the exchange of experiences between educators and practitioners.
It also reinforces ENCATC’s commitment to advancing the quality and relevance of education in cultural management and cultural policy, ensuring that teaching practices continue to respond to the changing needs of the cultural and creative sectors.
The laureates get the opportunity to publish an article in the ENCATC Scholars publication, which allows their innovative teaching practice to be disseminated more widely within the international cultural management and policy community and contributes to inspiring further exchange and collaboration.
The award is open to authors included in the Book of Proceedings of the ENCATC Congress who present a significant, innovative and transferable contribution to teaching or educational practice. Eligible contributions should demonstrate relevance to cultural management and/or cultural policy and provide an approach, method or practice that can contribute to the advancement of education in the field.
