Cyberattacks, such as those against the British Library, the Natural History Museum in Berlin, and the Internet Archive, have highlighted an increased risk to digital cultural heritage. These attacks reveal the cultural world's substantial unpreparedness to address these threats. Cyber Humanities represents an emerging discipline that, through a transdisciplinary approach, can address the issue of protecting cultural heritage, including digital heritage, with theoretical and technological tools.
