Think Tank Culture

Established in April 2020, the ENCATC Think Tank is a cross-sectoral and transnational platform that brings together representatives from EU cultural networks and European and international institutions, as well as cultural professionals, academics, and researchers.

Functioning at the intersection of researchpolicy and practice, it aims to produce evidence-based outputs designed to inform and support multi-level policy development, from local to European and international levels. This is achieved by collecting data, defining shared indicators, developing joint methodologies for comparative data analysis and data-driven policies

The Think Tank's work is expected to strengthen the sector's capacity to navigate ongoing and future challenges through strategic knowledge exchange and policy innovation. It also meant to contribute to developing coherent, forward-looking policy frameworks that support the sustainable growth and recognition of Europe's cultural and creative sectors nationally and internationally.
