Tzu-Jung Chen
Tzu-Jung Chen, a PhD candidate in Arts Management and Cultural Policy at the National Taiwan University of Arts, was chosen as the winner of the 2026 Best Student Paper Award for her paper “Cultural Impact Assessment: A Sustainable Development Framework for Mid-sized Live Music Venues in Taiwan”.
Chen is a PhD candidate in Arts Management and Cultural Policy at the National Taiwan University of Arts. Her research interests centre on cultural governance, cultural impact assessment and the sustainable development of cultural infrastructure, with a particular focus on Taiwan’s cultural and creative sectors.
Alongside her doctoral research, Chen draws on professional experience in Taiwan’s cultural and creative sectors, connecting academic research with practical questions of cultural management, policy and infrastructure. Her work contributes to current discussions on cultural value, sustainability and the role of cultural organisations within wider social and economic ecosystems.
