ENCATC launches 3 new calls for exciting opportunities!
ENCATC has announced exciting calls concerning European cultural heritage initiatives, publishing opportunities for research, and sharing teaching material for cultural management and cultural policy. Mark your agendas for these deadlines!
ENCATC members who are implementing a cross-border initiative that responds to the one or more of the objectives of the European Year of Cultural Heritage and takes place by 31 December 2018 are invited to apply for the official label of the European Year of Cultural Heritage. As ENCATC is one of the official members of the stakeholders' committee for the European Year, it has been entrusted with the task of labeling eligible events organised by the members of the network. The call for /encatcSCHOLAR has also been announced for Issue #09 focusing on the topic of the 25th ENCATC Congress last 27-30 September 2017, on “Click, Connect and Collaborate! New directions in sustaining cultural networks”. This call is open to all, meaning both members and non members of the network. Innovative and creative contributions are welcome that reflect the real value of cultural networks in today's world of digitization and internationalisation, questioning what networks can do for a diverse cultural sector and for the field of cultural management and policy, or how the sustainability of cultural networks matters for the way we work, connect and collaborate today and in the future. The third call is for the 8th Volume of the ENCATC Journal of Cultural Management and Policy. The Journal is based on a multidisciplinary perspective and aims at connecting theory and practice in the realm of the cultural sector. Its objective is to stimulate the debate on the topics of cultural management and cultural policy among scholars, educators, policy makers and cultural managers. Both members and non members are invited to submit articles from any relevant discipline, provided they make an original contribution to the study of cultural management and policy. Since 2017, the Journal is indexed in the ERIH Plus - European Reference Index of the Humanities and Social Sciences. The deadline to make a submission is 2 April 2018. MORE INFORMATION HERE.
