Re|Shaping Policies for Creativity

ENCATC attended the launch of the fourth edition of UNESCO’s Re|Shaping Policies for Creativity report, held during the 19th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, open to NGOs in partnership with UNESCO. Presented as part of the Committee’s official programme, the report warns that creators could face projected global revenue losses of up to 24% by 2028, particularly in the digital environment.

These pressing challenges for cultural policy and management will be at the core of the first ENCATC Talk, taking place on the 20th of March, online, in the presence of the report’s Editor-in-Chief, Jordi Baltà. The discussion will offer ENCATC members and the wider Cultural Policy & Management community key insights to inform research, advocacy and sustainable creative ecosystem development. More information on this talk will follow soon.
