ENCATC receives SHIFT Culture Eco-Certification for the Third Consecutive Year

We are proud to announce that ENCATC, alongside 16 other European cultural networks, has once again achieved eco-certification through SHIFT Culture. This marks our third consecutive year participating in the programme, a meaningful milestone that reflects our sustained commitment to environmental responsibility and climate action within the cultural sector.

SHIFT Culture is a tailor-made sustainability initiative designed specifically for cultural networks. Through its structured framework, participating organisations implement mandatory and optional eco-guidelines, engage in peer audits, and exchange practices to strengthen collective impact.

Over the past year, ENCATC has:

  • Implemented concrete environmental measures across its activities
  • Taken part in peer review processes to ensure accountability and progress
  • Shared knowledge and good practices with fellow European networks
  • Contributed to advancing climate-conscious leadership in the cultural ecosystem

This renewed certification demonstrates our ongoing effort to embed sustainability into our organisational culture and to actively support the green transition of the cultural and creative sectors.

We thank SHIFT Culture for this incredible opportunity and warmly congratulate all participating networks on this shared achievement:
