A Day for Cultural Policy and Cultural Management Research
On 16 December in Brussels, you're invited to attend a day of learning, networking, and celebrating cultural policy and cultural management research.
During the day, the 9th ENCATC Young Researchers' Forum on Cultural Policy and Cultural
Management, which is being done in partnership with the European Cultural
Foundation, will take place. This year, the Forum is focusing on the MENA
region - Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. It
will experiment for the first time a new format that gives a unique opportunity
to participants to enhance their own skills by being challenged by experienced
researchers, academics and practitioners and at the same time gaining
visibility in an international context.
In the evening, the 3rd ENCATC Research Award Ceremony will begin. This special event will announce the
Award winner to an international audience that will include the Award's
international jury as well as academics, researchers, cultural professionals,
policy makers, artists and media. It will also include a lively debate on
"The role of research for the practice. The importance of comparative and
global research" with invited experts coming from Europe, Asia, and North
America.
