ENCATC Award for Outstanding Contribution: submit a nominee!
Submit your nominations for the third edition of the ENCATC
Award for Outstanding Contribution. The biennial award was
established in 2019 and represents the highest expression of recognition
to exceptional achievements in developing and sustaining innovative and
consistent approaches that contribute to positive changes in cultural
education, research, management and policy.
ENCATC designed the Award to acknowledge and honour visionary
leadership, creativity, and contribution
in education, research, policy, and advocacy within cultural
management and/or policy. The Award recognizes transformational
leadership; innovative and creative contributions to research; advocacy efforts
with significant impact; contributions that have broken new ground for the
discipline and/or laid groundwork for others.
The Award aligns with ENCATC's mission, emphasizing a
multidisciplinary approach and values such as sustainability,
resilience, engagement, tolerance
and dialogue, interaction and participation,
and lifelong learning. It also adheres to principles of
inclusion, promotion of values and ethics in education and research, European
and international networking and cooperation, and cross-fertilization.
For this year's edition, the Award's reach was expanded; now individuals,
groups, or institutions worldwide can be nominated. Nominations
can be issued by ENCATC members, non-members, individuals,
or institutions.
The Award Ceremony will be organized on 13 October
2023 in Helsinki, in the frame of
the 2023 ENCATC Congress.
