2026 Young and Emerging Researchers' Forum

Nice, France

The questions at the centre of this Congress will outlast it, and answering them falls to researchers whose work is only now taking shape. Now in its 19th edition, the Young and Emerging Researchers Forum (YERF) gives them the floor.

Between the presenting researchers and the discussants responding to their work, this year's edition brings together participants from more than 18 countries, a reminder that the conditions of creative work are neither uniform nor understood the same way everywhere. Their expertise spans artist professionalisation and sustainable careers, precarious and invisible cultural labour, cultural intermediaries and creative ecologies, generative AI and digital platforms, territorial governance and cultural-policy evaluation, and participatory and accessible cultural spaces.

The Forum is coordinated by Prof. Leticia Labaronne, ENCATC Vice-President and Head of the Center for Arts Management at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland, and Prof. Richard Maloney, Clinical Associate Professor and Director, Performing Arts Administration program at the New York University, United States of America.
