Towards MONDIACULT 2025: The Viewpoint of The Cultural Management and Policy Community

14h00 - 15h30 (CEST)

This ENCATC Talk concludes our two-part series dedicated to revealing the outcomes of ENCATC’s six MONDIACULT Focus Groups, which have been actively preparing the ground for the 2025 ENCATC Congress and MONDIACULT 2025.

This session will spotlight the outcomes from three key Focus Groups:
- Economy of Culture, tackling how cultural and creative industries are proving to be engines for innovation, employment, and social cohesion;
- Digital Technologies and Culture, underlining the significant impact of digital technologies in the cultural world, having both opportunities like an improved access to culture and challenges like the inequality in access to culture;
- Cultural Heritage and Crisis, going deeply into the risks faced by cultural sites in crisis-affected regions, hindered by a weak enforcement of heritage protection laws and limited emergency preparedness.

This is more than a knowledge-sharing event. It’s an invitation to collaborate. You’ll hear from international scholars, engage with peers, and contribute to discussions that will directly inform future policy proposals at a global level.

If you’re a policymaker, researcher, cultural manager—or simply someone committed to the future of culture—your participation is vital. Let’s make sure that what we build together is both visionary and rooted in the realities our sector faces today.
