Towards MONDIACULT 2025: The Viewpoint of The Cultural Management and Policy Community

14h00 - 15h00 (CEST)

This ENCATC Talk marks the first of two special online events showcasing the results of ENCATC’s six newly established Focus Groups. These groups were set up as part of ENCATC’s strategic initiative to contribute to MONDIACULT 2025, bringing together experts from across our network to examine the future of cultural management and policy in light of the world’s most urgent challenges.

In this session, we will unveil the insights and proposals from three Focus Groups:
Cultural Rights – exploring the evolving understanding of cultural rights from aspirational principles to enforceable norms, with a focus on participation, freedom of expression, and democratization.
- Culture and Education – reflecting on how curricula, teaching approaches, and skill development can shape future cultural leaders and respond to societal change.
- Culture and Climate Action – highlighting how cultural institutions and practitioners can lead the way in sustainability through awareness, creativity, and transformation.

Join us to discover how ENCATC’s community is generating knowledge and shaping the cultural agenda for a regenerative future.

The programme of the event will be available soon.
