The Status and Working Conditions of Artists and Cultural & Creative Professionals in the Americas

Beatriz Salinas Marambio is a curator and researcher from Chile, currently based in Denmark. She holds an MSc in International Relations and European Studies from Aalborg University and an MA in Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths, University of London. She is a lecturer at Aarhus University and Universidad Finis Terrae. She is also Chair of the Board of The Valley of the Possible, an organisation operating in Chile and the Netherlands that works on art and ecology projects. She was the founding director of the National Centre for Contemporary Art in Chile and, prior to that, Head of Exhibitions at the Museum of Visual Arts in Santiago. Her research and professional practice focus on the intersections of contemporary art, education, politics, and civil society.
