The Status and Working Conditions of Artists and Cultural and Creative Professionals in Europe

Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Director of the Centre for Information, Communication and Culture at the University of Barcelona (UB). She regularly teaches courses on the economics of culture and cultural policies. Her main research interests include cultural policies, women and culture, artists’ labour markets, and cultural participation. Anna has also contributed her research to numerous international organizations (UNESCO, UCGL, World Bank, Council of Europe, ERICarts, etc.) and national institutions (Spanish Ministry of Culture, Catalan Department of Culture, “la Caixa” Social Observatory, Fundació Carulla, among others).

She is currently the Chair of the Board of the Compendium Association.
