“Teaching and Learning Cultural Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century”
Brussels, Belgium5th Annual ENCATC Policy Debate
Building on a series of thought–provoking debates on the topic of crisis started by ENCATC in 2011, the 2015 edition of the ENCATC Annual Policy Debate gathered renowned experts including academics, researchers and policy makers from Europe and the United States who debated on how to teach and learn cultural entrepreneurship.
This Policy Debate was designed for academics, researchers, cultural managers and professionals, policy makers, EU representatives, students, artists and the wider public interested in culture and creative industries and cultural entrepreneurship.
This event was also the European launch of the book Creating Cultural Capital. Cultural Entrepreneurship in Theory, Pedagogy and Practice following the American launch held on 10 June at the University of Minnesota Duluth. The book’s editors and authors were in Brussels to discuss their work and took questions from participants.
The 5th Annual ENCATC Policy Debate was organised by ENCATC in partnership the Antwerp Management School/the University of Antwerp, the University of Minnesota Duluth, HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. ENCATC is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
