Second 2024 Meeting

The meeting provided an opportunity to review recent international and sectoral developments, and to discuss upcoming activities of the ENCATC Think Tank. Erminia Sciacchitano presented the outcomes of the G7 Working Group on Culture and the G7 Declaration on Culture, followed by a Q&A session moderated by ENCATC Board Member Ana Zuvela and an open-floor discussion for civil society updates.

Participants also explored global trends in the creative economy, with Katalin Bokor presenting the Creative Economy Outlook 2024 from UNCTAD, highlighting key patterns, challenges, and opportunities shaping the sector worldwide. The presentation was followed by a Q&A moderated by GiannaLia Cogliandro Beyens, ENCATC Secretary General.

Finally, GiannaLia Cogliandro Beyens provided an update on the ENCATC Think Tank’s planned activities for 2025, setting the stage for continued research, collaboration, and policy engagement in the cultural and creative sectors.
