Rethinking cultural diplomacy: Innovative approaches and collaborative strategies

This Members Talk, in partnership with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), builds on the successful collaboration between ENCATC and ASEF during the Cultural Diplomacy Lab, held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 10-13 June 2024, aiming to share insights and discuss the key takeaways from the initiative.

Key Learnings, Challenges, and Takeaways", a comprehensive report developed by the 18 participants of the ASEF LinkUp | Asia-Europe Cultural Diplomacy Lab 2024.

Together with prominent speakers from Asia and Europe’s arts and culture sectors, we will explore how the principles in the report can be applied to the evolving landscape of cultural diplomacy. Key questions to be addressed include: What practical steps can be taken to integrate the report's recommendations? How can we bridge the gap between the arts sector, government, and civil society as we shape the future of cultural diplomacy?
