Nathalie Moureau is a professor of economics at Montpellier Paul Valery University and a researcher at RiRRA21. Specializing in the contemporary art market, she has regularly conducted research for the Department of Prospective Studies and Statistics of the Ministry of Culture (galleries, collectors) and for the professional committee of art galleries (fairs, artists' careers, economic analyses). She is treasurer of FRAC Occitanie. Her publications include Le marché de l'art contemporain (The Contemporary Art Market), published by Éditions la découverte in collaboration with Dominique Sagot-Duvauroux, and more recently Histoire des galeries d'art contemporain en France (History of Contemporary Art Galleries in France), published by Flammarion in collaboration with Alice Ensabella, Agnès Penot, Léa St Raymond, and Julie Verlaine.
