Kick-off meeting

During the first meeting of the Think Tank, ENCATC invited European networks and institutions to jointly develop an initiative about the impact of Covid 19, in the direction to provide robust and consistent proof of the challenges which the sector was facing and of the need to rethink policies, practices, and tools need to support its resilience and growth.

This kick-off meeting was organized with the idea to go beyond the need to evaluate the immediate impact of the crisis and focusing more on the development of an overall framework to align methodologies, making results comparable, comprehensive of the various impacts (on education and training, cultural management and policy) according to the features of the various cultural fields.

During this meeting the Think Tank was established, functioning at the intersection of research, policy, and practice, aiming to produce evidence-based outputs designed to inform and support multi-level policy development, from local to European and international levels. This is achieved by collecting data, defining shared indicators, developing joint methodologies for comparative data analysis and data-driven policies
