Inside the ENCATC Journal of Cultural Management and Policy: Insights, research, and publishing opportunities

Online

The ENCATC Journal of Cultural Management and Policy (EJCMP) stands at the crossroads of research, innovation, and policy dialogue in the cultural field. This online event invites participants to delve into the Journal’s evolving vision and interdisciplinary approach.

The session will open with an introduction from Editor-in-Chief Anna Villarroya, who will present the ENCATC Journal of Cultural Management and Policy (EJCMP)’s mission, aims, and current special issue calls. Ricardo Leitão-Gonçalves, Partner Journal Development Manager at Frontiers, will then share insights into the Journal’s international projection, open access policy, and opportunities for scholars to publish their work.

Building on this context, the session will highlight the Journal’s commitment to bridging disciplines, contexts, and methodologies through three selected articles that exemplify the richness of its content. Laura Valoma explores the decolonisation of cultural policy and the rights of the Sámi people in Finland; Dragana Kostica examines network governance in urban regeneration across Belgrade and Amsterdam; and Jordi Sanjuán analyses how cultural and creative industries shape wellbeing. Together, these perspectives reveal the Journal’s role as a vibrant platform for dialogue between research, policy, and practice, inspiring new collaborations and cross-sector insights in the cultural field.
