Dr Kathrin Schmidt is an experienced cultural and creative industries consultant, researcher and project manager with a particular focus on culture and development programmes, cultural policy and mapping studies. Her consulting and research skills are complemented by her previous experience in arts and media organisations in the UK, Sierra Leone, France and Austria. She has recently completed her PhD on the political economy of cultural industries in Sierra Leone and she is also a Fellow of the British Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a member of the UK's Creative Industries Federation.
