ENCATC Experts Group on Art Market and Cultural Good Integrity: European Policy Updates, Research Insights and Future Initiatives

Fenya Almstadt studied art history, social and cultural anthropology and history in Berlin, Potsdam and Rennes. Within the ProvEnhance project (2023-2027), she is pursuing a PhD (Université libre de Bruxelles x Technische Universität Berlin) by investigating the Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium’s (RMFAB) acquisitions, practices and networks between 1933-1960 as well as the implications of Nazi-looting of cultural assets in Belgium. Fenya is affiliated to the Brussels Art Markets Laboratory (BAMlab) and the Arbeitskreis Provenienzforschung e.V.
