ENCATC Experts Group on Art Market and Cultural Good Integrity: European Policy Updates, Research Insights and Future Initiatives

The programme will also include a dynamic exchange of updates among members, encouraging knowledge sharing and the identification of common areas of interest for future collaboration.
With the aim of stimulating critical reflection and supporting new research and policy pathways, Anne-Sophie Radermecker will present the progress of the Routledge Companion of Art Market Research, highlighting its contribution to advancing interdisciplinary scholarship and strengthening international research networks in the field of art market studies.
The agenda further will include a report from the international conference Looted Art and the Art Market: Nazi Art Theft in Belgium, Europe, and Its Aftermath (Brussels, 11–12 June 2026), offering participants an opportunity to reflect on current debates surrounding provenance research, restitution, and ethical practices in the art market.
Finally, participants will discuss preparations for upcoming ENCATC activities, including the annual Congress in Nice, reinforcing the Experts Group’s commitment to fostering collaboration, promoting integrity in the art market, and strengthening the links between research, policy, and professional practice.
