Lizzie is a cultural and creative industries researcher and consultant with BOP Consulting. She works with cultural funders, universities and government agencies to deliver sector studies, programme evaluations, and other major research projects. Recent projects include a study on the opportunities and challenges of AI for the culture sector for the UK Department for Culture, Media & Sport, research into international activity of artists and cultural organisations for Arts Council England, and data analysis for two recent UNESCO publications: the Re|Shaping Policies for Creativity report and Global Report on Cultural Policies.
Prior to joining BOP, Lizzie worked for the British Council policy team and for a think tank on UK-EU relations based at The Policy Institute, King’s College London. In 2018, she was awarded a British Council Venice research fellowship and made a Milton Wolf Emerging Scholar in Public Diplomacy. She has an MA in Cultural Policy, Relations and Diplomacy from Goldsmiths and an undergraduate degree in French and History from the University of Edinburgh.
