Edilia Gänz is the Director of FEDORA – The European Circle of Philanthropists of Opera and Ballet – the leading European non-profit organisation supporting innovative opera, dance, education, and digital projects by emerging artists. Since helping launch FEDORA in 2013 with the support of the European Commission, she has developed the organisation into a major platform for artistic excellence and cultural philanthropy across Europe. Edilia oversees FEDORA’s cultural network of 133 opera houses, dance companies and festivals across Europe as well as a network of international philanthropists while running the FEDORA Prizes Competition and the Next Stage Initiative for sustainable, inclusive and digital transformation on, behind and beyond the stage. Edilia holds degrees from ESCP Europe Business School and the University of Mannheim. She was named to Forbes “30 Under 30 Europe – Arts & Culture” in 2019 and regularly lectures at leading international institutions.
