Associate Professor of Cultural Policy and Cultural Management at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts Belgrade

Nina Mihaljinac is an Associate Professor of Cultural Policy and Cultural Management at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts Belgrade. From 2020, she  held the title of the Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policy and Management, University of Arts Belgrade. She works in the field of cultural policy, cultural management and international cultural cooperation with a special interest in the social position of artists and fair practices. She worked for numerous organisations such as the EU-Med Culture Programme, Goethe InstituteBritish Council, Ministry of Culture of Serbia, the Creative Europe Desk Serbia and in many international research projects (Horizon2020 ARTIS-Art and Research on Transformations of Individuals and Societies, 2021-2024, Erasmus Shakin – Sharing Subaltern knowledge in International Cultural Cooperation, 2021-2024, Decolonising development - COST, 2021-2024). She is currently the principal investigator of the project EPICA-Empowering participation in Culture and Architecture, funded by the Science fund of Serbia. She has published four books and numerous papers, among others for publishers like Sage and Palgrave Macmillan. She also works as a visual artist and a curator.
