Karin Riegler

Coordinator for teaching/learning and career paths, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna

Karin Riegler holds a doctorate in History from University of Vienna and was visiting scholar at Indiana University at Bloomington and exchange student at Georgetown University (U.S.). She is a former vice-rector for teaching/learning and promotion of early stage artists/researchers at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and currently coordinates projects in the areas of teaching/learning and career paths. She has worked in a number of positions in Vienna and Brussels specializing in HE governance and quality assurance/development, teaching/learning issues, the Bologna process and international education, and briefly taught U.S. legal history at University of Vienna. She regularly serves as expert/peer in audits and other quality processes.
