Brussels, Belgium4th ENCATC Cultural Happy Hour debates Brussels’ contemporary art position
Held at the CAB Art Center, the 4th Cultural Happy Hours included a debate on “Brussels & the contemporary art field”, where the 25 participants were invited both to discover a new emerging contemporary art center in Brussels and join a debate on how Brussels is becoming a leading hub for contemporary art, which factors have led to its actual positioning, and how this may further develop in the future. Led by the CAB Director, Eléonore De Sadeleer, guests visited the current exhibition “The Fold” and listened to the introduction to the Brussels contemporary art scene by Sonia Dermience, curator at Komplot, followed by a debate with the public.
