Art by Commission in Flanders: Policy, Practice, and Professionalisation

Ariane De Vriendt is Culture Coordinator at Creative Europe Desk Vlaanderen, the Flemish Government's information and support office for the European Union's Creative Europe programme. She advises cultural organisations on Creative Europe funding, international partnerships, and European project development. Previously, she worked as EU Culture Policy Officer for the Flemish Government and managed several European cooperation projects. During Belgium's Presidency of the Council of the European Union, she contributed to advancing European cultural policy and promoting cultural diversity.
