Art by Commission in Flanders: Policy, Practice, and Professionalisation

To celebrate the start of summer with a cultural touch, we are delighted to invite you to a special ENCATC Art Talk at the  Belpaire Building in Brussels, taking place on Thursday, 2 July, from 5:10 PM to 6:15 PM.

The talk will feature Katrien Laenen and Laureline Soubry from the Platform Art by Commission at the Flemish Department of Culture, Youth and Media. The Platform Art by Commission continuously works on the development of a policy framework for the professionalisation of the actors involved in Art by Commission projects. The goal is to promote the realisation of high-quality artworks in (semi-)public spaces in Flanders.

It will be followed by a ENCATC Cultural Happy Hour inviting participants to connect with each other while they continue to discover the building.
