Nathalie Moureau is a Professor of Cultural Economics at the Université Paul Valéry Montpellier, France. Her research examines the cultural industries, the economic mechanisms underlying the arts, and the dynamics of the contemporary art market. She has carried out studies for the French Ministry of Culture and the Professional Committee of Art Galleries (Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art, CPGA). Her work explores the roles of art collectors, galleries, and art fairs in depth. She also serves as Treasurer of the Contemporary Art Regional Fund (FRAC) Occitanie and has published several books and numerous articles in the field of cultural economics.
