2026 BRAFA Art Fair

Brussels, Belgium

As the oldest art fair in Europe and one of the most prestigious, BRAFA once again served as a unique gathering point for exhibitors, collectors, museums, foundations, art dealers, and art enthusiasts. For its 71st edition, BRAFA was pleased to welcome King Baudouin Foundation as its guest of honour. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, this remarkable recognition payed tribute to the Foundation and its philanthropists, who have devoted decades to preserving Belgium’s rich heritage. It also marked the crowning achievement of a long-standing partnership - 20 years strong - between the Foundation and BRAFA.

This year's first ENCATC Art Talk was entitled: "Art and antiques dealing as a profession: contemporary challenges". In this talk, leading specialists from the art market, cultural economics, and academic research explored current transformations, pressures, and opportunities facing art and antiques dealers — from evolving market dynamics to professional identity and cultural value creation.

A Cultural Happy Hour followed the Art Talk.
