2025 Award Ceremony

Ernesto Ottone R., winner of the 2025 Outstanding Award, was celebrated in the frame of the Award Ceremony held on 15th September in occasion of the 33rd Congress. Ernesto Ottone Ramírez has been recognized for his visionary leadership and dedication. His commitment has significantly shaped the global cultural landscape, positioning culture as a pillar of sustainable development, social inclusion, and peace. A Chilean cultural policy expert and international cultural manager, between 2015 and 2018 he served as Chile's Minister President of the National Council of Culture and the Arts, and later as the country’s Minister of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage. 

Established in 2019 to mark ENCATC’s 25th anniversary, the Award for Outstanding Contributions honours remarkable individuals or institutions whose innovative and consistent achievements have profoundly advanced cultural education, research, management, and policy. Through their vision and dedication, they have contributed to shaping positive and lasting change in our field.
