Kim Oosterlinck

Full professor of Finance at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (ULB)

Kim Oosterlinck is Professor of Finance at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (Université libre de Bruxelles) and Research Fellow at the CEPR. He holds a Master in Management, a Master in Art History and Archaeology, and a Ph.D. in Economics and Management from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). After a post-doctoral stay at Rutgers University, he came back at ULB as professor. His main research interests are sovereign bond valuation, financial history and questions related to the art market. Kim Oosterlinck has published in several leading academic journals such as the American Economic Review (Papers and Proceedings), the Economic History Review, the Economic Journal, the Journal of Economic History, the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Review of Finance. He published, in 2016, a book on the Repudiation of Russian Sovereign Bonds (Yale University Press). He is currently Vice-Rector in charge of Prospective and Finance at the Université libre de Bruxelles, and board member of TIAMSA (The International Art Market Studies Association).
