Strengthening Arts and Cultural Journalism: EU Insights, Accuracy & Impact
OnlineSince 2021, ASEF and ENCATC has jointly organised 3 virtual residences for emerging arts and cultural journalists from Asia and Europe. This activity aims to support the next generation of arts and cultural journalists working at the intersection of cultural management and cultural policy. It provides long-term opportunities for capacity building, networking, and peer-to-peer collaboration, helping emerging professionals strengthen their voice and impact in the sector.
4 years later, reflecting on the pilot residency titled Virtual Crossovers, ENCATC is organising a webinar that champions stronger cultural practices and policies rooted in citizenship, democratic values, and cultural and linguistic diversity. It also aims to raise awareness on combating disinformation and fostering media literacy, both essential pillars for responsible and forward-looking cultural reporting.
