Mentoring programme for cultural and creative sectors professionals

The ENCATC Mentoring Programme for Cultural and Creative Sectors Professionals is designed to support sustainability-led leadership and professional growth across the cultural and creative sectors (CCS). Building on ENCATC’s long-standing commitment to cultural policy, management, and systemic transformation, the programme fosters meaningful exchange between emerging and experienced professionals at European and international levels.

The Mentoring Programme is accessible to participants of the ENCATC Academy on Sustainable Cultural Management and Policy, as well as to ENCATC members from Ukraine and EU Accession countries. By opening participation beyond the Academy experience, the programme strengthens inclusivity, regional cooperation, and knowledge transfer across diverse cultural and institutional contexts.

At the core of the Mentoring Programme is a structured mentoring relationship that encourages intergenerational and cross-sectoral dialogue. Through one-to-one or group mentoring, participants are supported in developing strategic capabilities, leadership skills, and practical approaches to address the challenges of sustainability, the green transition, and broader social and digital transformation in the CCS.

The programme provides a dedicated space for:

  • Professional development and leadership support
  • Exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best practices
  • Reflection on organisational and policy-oriented challenges
  • Translation of sustainability principles into actionable strategies

Aligned with the values and learning outcomes of the ENCATC Academy and connected to the Academy Alumni Programme, the Mentoring Programme enables participants to continue their learning journey beyond formal training. It encourages long-term engagement with European and international sustainability frameworks, including the European Green Deal and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Through mentoring, ENCATC empowers cultural and creative professionals to strengthen their roles as change-makers, contributing to a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future for the cultural and creative sectors.
