Toni-Matti works as Professor of Arts Management and Head of Doctoral Programme and Research unit in Sibelius Academy at the University of the Arts Helsinki. He is also a member of the Sibelius Academy Board. He holds the title of Docent in Music Management and Culture Export at Aalto University in Finland. He has been a visiting professor, speaker, lecturer, supervisor and researcher in various countries. He holds a Doctor of Arts degree in Art and Design, M.Sc. in Economics, and he has produced over 100 academic publications ranging from design, branding and product development to popular music and arts management – managing numerous research projects in a wide variety of areas, from consumer products to design and technology, and further to cultural products. He has also participated as a member in various advisory and executive boards, ranging from research projects to organisations and international networks.
