Following an international career in the performing arts, Leticia Labaronne joined the ZHAW Zürich University of Applied Sciences in 2009. Originally from Argentina, she holds a BA in International Studies (UK), an MSc in Public and Nonprofit Management (Switzerland), and a PhD in Cultural Management (Germany). Since 2016, she has served as Academic Director of the Executive Master of Arts Management at ZHAW. In 2019, she became Head of the Center for Arts Management, which employs six full‑time researchers and collaborates with more than fifty scholars and practitioners in executive education, research and consulting projects. In 2022, she was promoted to tenured Full Professor of Arts Management. Her expertise spans a broad range of topics related to the management of arts and cultural organizations, including financing and funding, performance measurement, sustainability, cultural promotion, and cultural policy. She serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Cultural Management and Cultural Policy and the International Journal of Arts Management, Law and Society, and has been a member of the ENCATC Advisory Board since 2021. She currently co‑leads the major research project “Culture Goes Sustainable” and co‑founded the global alliance “Culture for the Planet.”
