Elena Borin holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Ferrara (Italy) and the Doctor Europaeus title. She is Full Professor of Business Administration and Deputy Dean for International Affairs at Pegaso Digital University, where she also directs the Excellence Lab SICCEc - Sustainable Innovation in Cultural and Creative Industries, Sectors and Ecosystems and co-directs the Observatory on Sustainability Accounting and Reporting Practices in Cultural and Creative Ecosystems. Her work focuses on shaping innovative and sustainable models for cultural and creative ecosystems, bridging cultural value, managerial innovation and societal transformation. Previously, she led for several years the MSc in Arts and Cultural Management and coordinated the Research Team in Arts and Cultural Management at Burgundy School of Business (France). With over 15 years of international teaching and research experience across Europe, Asia and Latin America, and publications in top-ranked scientific journals, she brings a global, forward-looking perspective to cultural management education, research and policy dialogue.
